Listen to the Interview

Alex Singh ProfileHello, and welcome to The Remote Podcast Episode 6. This podcast is all about location independence, digital nomadism, and living life on your terms.

Each week we interview a new guest on the show, and this week I sat down with Alex Singh, the cofounder of Domino, an invite-only community of freelancers to share their extra work with the people they know and trust.

The big themes we cover today include our frustrations with the theoretical nature of the education system, the importance of pivoting and tweaking your ideas based on feedback, and the future of work, in particular, freelancing.

We cover a lot of ground in this episode! We discuss Alex’s experiences growing up and attending school in Australia, his decision to drop out to pursue photography, and how he built up his own photo agency. From there, we talk about how Alex moved to New York City and started pursuing new entrepreneurial ideas, how he learned graphic design, and the story behind Domino.
